The "Beethoven"

This character is a great swindler, genius liar and just an “old fox” ― known as Ludwig nicknamed Beethoven (or “Betty” for close and very “humorous” colleagues). No one knows who is he by blood, what is his real name and where or when he was born. But everyone in the East End knows: if you need help, take all the shillings you have, go to Baldwin Street and ask for Beethoven.
However, there are rumors that some tattoos hidden under his clothes can tell about him. Who knows: maybe even Ludwig's tattoos are a lie.

If he were a character not only in a book, but also in a game, a quest giver would definitely come out of him. Betty does not deal with crime himself, but knows the right people of all professions and specialties to organize his own criminal cell. Which, in fact, is what he is doing in the plot.
